Dispute resolution is the reason to mediate.  There are no two ways about it, litigation is risky and expensive.  Jury trials take control away from the parties and put the outcome of a dispute in the hands of strangers, who will make potentially life-changing decisions.  Trials and appeals are stressful, time consuming, take away from participants' abilities to engage in other productive ventures and can cause years of uncertainty for all parties. While trials are sometimes necessary, mediation is a more effective way to resolve the vast majority of cases. Mediation offers an opportunity for the parties to take control and reach a resolution on their terms.

Mediator Josh Nelson-Archer has been an attorney for more than 20 years and has been involved in mediating hundreds of cases.  Josh has handled all types of civil litigation in both state and federal courts on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.  Experience handling cases on both sides of the docket and having an extensive background with insurance companies provides Josh a unique ability to assist the parties in finding ways to resolve cases.  Josh's objective as a mediator is to provide a meaningful opportunity for the parties to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their positions, limit risk and provide certainty as to the outcome of any dispute.
